End of season notes

First of all, I'd like to congratulate the 2012 Aries Engineering Golf League champs - Dave Johnson and Mike Brieschke!  Well played guys!

Next, I want to say thanks to all those that helped in my absence from time to time this year, in particular Bob Johnson for being close by so I could hand off the paperwork to when I didn't have much time to do it. Business is great for me right now, but my game has (obviously) suffered because of it.  Wish I could find a balance...

Some notes to finish up the season:
I've posted an end of season stat sheet over on the right, basically shows where all the money went this year - Pat's buyin'!

The outing is on Sept. 15th at Woodlawn in Adrian, Mi.  Tee time is 8:20am sharp - we will be playing right in front of another outing, so we absolutely need to be on the tee by 8:20! Looks like there will be two groups traveling up to Woodlawn.  The first group will be getting breakfast at Star Diner on Alexis Rd. near Tremainsville at 6:00am, then leaving extra vehicles at Conn-Weisenberger Post to car pool up to the course.  The second group will be meeting at Kroger on Monroe St. in Sylvania at 7:00am, and car pooling from there.  Choose to go with whichever group you want, or meet us at the course by 8:00am no later!  Banquet will immediately follow at Conn-Weisenberger.

Lots of interesting votes for the Tear Drop Award and the Flying Club Award - will be doing the tally today - results revealed at the banquet!

Lastly, it looks like we have some changes coming this year.  I know one person has indicated they will be dropping off the league for sure. This will leave us one open space to fill next year (and we have room to add more teams).  Also, as I have been Secretary for the last 7 years, I feel I've done my time, and would like to step down if someone is willing to take my place.  We will be voting on this position at the meeting so please consider who would be a good choice.
