Dear Officers:
GREAT NEWS! The 2009 golf season is about to begin! Of course, we begin the season with our annual officers meeting. This year’s winter meeting will be held at 1:00 pm Sunday, January 25, 2009 at Hooters on Monroe St. near Harvest Lane.
I am taking the family to Walt Disney World from February 5th – 10th, which conflicts with our normal meeting schedule. To allow everyone to attend, we have settled on the above date.
We will go over the budget, and since we will review the entire rules set, I ask you to review last year’s rules for possible changes. You may bring up any rules or format changes either for the league or the special 4 man team nights, even if only for debate purposes.

Last year we had 26 members in the league. I will inform Whiteford Valley that we currently plan to have 28 players, but we need to have some flexibility. I can accommodate anywhere from 28 to 36 players. But, 32 works out best. If we have an odd number, I will bring back the proxy team of Thing 1 and 2. If you know anyone that would like to join the league, please give them my phone number and have them contact me right away!
Tee Times will be handled the same way as last year with 4-somes showing up early being aloud to play ahead in the order.
